  1. Basic introduction of automatic circular metal seam welding machine

Automatic circular metal seam welding machine is a general automatic welding equipment that can complete various circular seams and welds. It can be used for high-quality welding of carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminum and its alloys, and can choose argon arc welding (wire filling or no wire filling), ablation electrode gas shielded welding, plasma welding and other welding power sources to form a set of circular seams automatic welding system. It can be widely used in the welding of hydraulic cylinders, automobile orientation frames, transmission shafts, storage cylinders, chemical, medical containers, liquefied gas tanks, fire fighting equipment, barrels and liquid storage tanks for mining and production lines.

Second, the welding method of automatic circular metal seam welding machine

The design of the automatic circumferential metal seam welding machine adopts the key pressing mechanism to provide uniform and stable workpiece clamping and cooling effect, and the girder and welding trolley provide precise welding action for welding high-quality, low-distortion linear welds application. Workpieces can vary in form, shape and material, and in most cases the weld is a butt joint design. For different applications, the welding methods that can be integrated in the longitudinal seam welding system are: GTAW (tungsten argon arc welding); PAW (plasma welding); GMAW (melting electrode argon arc welding); FCAW (flux cored melting electrode arc welding) ; SAW (submerged arc welding); YAG laser welding and so on. The welding process is mainly aimed at the welding of thin workpieces, and can be applied to welding processes such as TIG tungsten arc welding, MIG/MAG gas shielded welding, PAW plasma welding, and SAW submerged arc welding. The equipment is specially designed to be welded on one side and formed on both sides, and the workpiece material will not be deformed by heat or minimize thermal deformation.

Common Welding Problems and Solutions of Automatic Circumferential metal seam welding machine

  1. Stoma: In the welding application of automatic circular metal seam welding machineequipment, stoma is a common problem. There are many reasons for stoma, such as welding material itself, improper operation, environmental reasons, etc. In view of this, in order to effectively prevent this problem and realize welding, the shielding gas should be strengthened, the welding temperature should not be too high, and the gas and related requirements should be filled in strict accordance with the proportion to ensure that the purity of the filling meets the requirements. At the same time, pay attention to the environment around the welding site. If the wind speed at the construction site exceeds 8 meters per second, a windshield should be used for protection, and the ambient humidity should not be too high. In addition, annular flame heaters or medium frequency induction heaters can be used to ensure that the welding position remains dry.
  2. Non-fusion: During the welding process, the vertical welding position does not melt due to the incorrect grinding shape of the weld bead, the deviation of the welding seam or the unreasonable swing width of the welding torch. For this reason, the bead polishing operation should be as smooth as possible during the welding process. At the same time, before welding, the welding wire should be carefully observed to see if the swing width is correct. In addition, during the welding process, if there is a deviation between the weld pool and the center of the weld diameter, adjustments should be made in time to avoid the problem of non-fusion.
